Organic ornamental cultivation not only stands for beautiful flowers and plants, but also for healthy nature and satisfied consumers. Our growers are proud of their work, and rightly so! But to maintain and further develop this sustainable leading position, we do need some help. And that is from the government. Therefore, a petition has been drawn up with a 3-point plan. This plan calls for fair opportunities, a clear perspective and, above all, guts!

1. Production: Compensate all organic certification costs for all organic (ornamental) growers Ensure a fair business playing field. This can be done by compensating all organic certification costs for all organic ornamental growers. This way, you do not put an extra price on clean producers, stimulate clean ornamental cultivation in the Netherlands and at the same time ensure clean drinking water, clean air and clean water.
2. Chain: Reward the organic label, which does not use synthetic plant protection products Reward those who use the organic label with lower levies from the water board, through adjustments in the tender system of Corporate Social Responsibility and in green financing. After all, organic ornamental growers do not use synthetic plant protection products and fertilisers, thus reducing cleaning costs and demonstrably working in a socially responsible manner.
3. Sales market: Government as launching customer Implement procurement policy where the government takes an exemplary role as launching customer and an increasing percentage of organic procurement
