Crystal-clear and sustainable packaging line

Monday 04 March 2024

In terms of circular and innovative business, a big step has been taken by Paardekoper, comprising packaging specialists Broekhof and Dillewijn Zwapak.

Indeed, post-consumer recycled plastic waste will be used in the new Recy Clear line. Two types will be announced in the first phase of the project:

  • rOPP Recy Clear 70% - made of OPP (35micron) and contains 70% post-consumer plastic waste

  • rCPP Recy Clear 97% - made of CPP (30micron) and contains 97% post-consumer plastic waste.

The best thing about this packaging line? The two variants are crystal clear, showing off the flowers at their best. The material can also be printed well and the packs can be used on Terra overwrapping machines.
