On the way to PlanetProof is a quality mark of the Dutch Foundation for Environmental Inspection (Stichting Milieukeur, SMK) and imposes requirements with respect to the protection of our climate and the environment that go above and beyond the statutory criteria.

Consumers of items such as dairy products, fruit and vegetables are already familiar with On the way to PlanetProof. According to SMK, ‘On the way to PlanetProof is the fastest-growing quality mark in the Netherlands for more sustainable products. Use of the PlanetProof quality mark also continues to grow in the floriculture sector. The number of hectares belonging to international quality mark holders grew by 80% in 2021, in which the largest increase was noted in Germany.’
The quality mark is also part of the Sustainable Florist Barometer initiative.
