Preparations for Advent and Christmas are in full swing and that means plenty of greenery at Andromeda.
The greenery at Andromeda nursery is unsprayed and residue-free. Not a drop of chemistry gets on the conifers and hedges. For four years now, growers Friso, Peter and Wim have not used those agents. Checkable in their MPS-A+ accounts.
In spring, they spray an organic SKAL-certified bacterial preparation against brown tips. One location is completely chemical-free. At the other location, they still use a herbicide against weeds on the soil.
Wim: ‘’Important to know and pass on: You can put our conifers in your mouth just like that, so to speak. Only the yew species are naturally poisonous. The other conifer species are non-toxic and strong-tasting. For lovers!‘’
Dyed products are not residue-free, of course, because they have dye on or in them.
